(Three rounds of playoffs)
PRO Division
1.
Puck Buddies
(8-5) A very razor thin edge
since they have a little more offense than the next two teams.
2.
Funkmaster Redux (9-5) Gena is the game changer.
Plus they are playing at such a high level right now.
3.
The All Blacks (2-1) Suffocating defense and
relentless grind game. Can they get enough scoring besides Mike J. and Bill N.?
4.
Snake Eyes (7-2) Another team who has surprised with
their stellar full team balanced effort. Can they win three in a row to win the
Cup though?
5.
Ducks (9-2) Have offensive talent and
goaltending to make a run. Dangerous team. But can their defense hold for three
games in a row to win the Cup? Not as complete team as the four above them.
6.
Blood Red (6-1) Can win a round or maybe even
two. Hard to see them beat two of the top 4 teams back to back though to win
the Cup. Longshot to win it all.
7.
5 Minute Major (8-1) With the right matchup,
they can surprise in the first round. Not sure they can go deeper than that though.
8.
The Untouchables (50-1) Clearly needs divine
intervention to win it all….much less one playoff round.
REC Division
1.
2 Jacks No Coke (8-5) Slight edge because they
are the most explosive team with Jake S. and Cassidy P.
2.
Babylon Warriors (9-5) Arguably most complete
team in REC and the only other team with a serious chance to win it all.
3.
Scabs (5-1) More fundamentally sound than the
others and have a goalie who can carry a team. Though winning three in a row is
a lot to ask.
4.
Scorpions (6-1) Arguably the second most
complete team in REC if they have their full roster.
5.
The Moosassins (6-1) Suspect back end may get
exposed in the playoffs. Ripe for an early exit with the wrong matchup in the
first round.
6.
License 2 Thrill (8-1) Another team who is not
that far off as record indicates. Can make some noise in the first two rounds.
7.
Streetsharks (8-1) Have been playing well of
late but not sold they have depth and enough on both ends to win three in a
row.
8.
Greenback Boogies (12-1) Can win a round. But
their backend will not hold up for three games in a row.
