| 1 | Puck Buddies | 1 | 1 | 1 | Slow start
but strong finish keep the PB on top headed into the playoffs. Allowed a season high 5 goals. Remain the team to beat heading into playoffs. After starting short staffed, looked more like the defending champs this week; need to shore up their defense as they enter the playoffs. |
| 2 | Ducks | 2 | 2 | 2 | Held off a
pesky FR - but can they do it two weeks in a row? Slick passing. Solid between the pipes. Continue to play better as a team. Another strong performance, but not as dominant as previous weeks. |
| 3 | The All Blacks | 3 | 3 | 3 | Appeared to play down a level but got the shutout to hang onto
2nd place. Shout out to Sue with the great finish for her goal. Key saves by Lee make for an easy night. After a slow start, the All Blacks got rolling and are nearly unstoppable with a full head of steam. |
| 4 | Puck U | 4 | 4 | 5 | 3 PPG and 6/6 on PK propel PU to the top half of the rankings
this week. Still coming to grips with the talent of the PRO division. Not the greatest showing, but got the "W". Moving slower and committing numerous penalties, Puck U seemed to regress this week; will need to refocus facing a thirsty Blood Red team in the quarterfinals. |
| 5 | Blood Red | 5 | 5 | 4 | Held their own for 1 period against PB but the comeback came up
short. Most improved team by a long shot. Still need to find consistant play to reach that next level. Topping the Puck Buddies in shots on goal, this team is poised for a first round upset. |
| 6 | Funkmaster Redux | 6 | 6 | 6 | Battled hard against the Ducks - lack of offense needs to be
solved if they want to make a run for the DCHL Cup. Continue to toil along. Keith cannot shoulder entire scoring load. Depth scoring is spotty. Despite a loss to the Ducks, Funk looked stronger this week moving the ball well and creating offensive opportunities. |
| 6 | Snake Eyes | 7 | 8 | 7 | Hung tough with TAB for half the game, but the slow grind wore
them out in the end. Continue to show why they belong as the bottom rung in PRO. Held their own at the onset , but the All Blacks proved to be just too much for this struggling group. |
| 6 | DC Pravdacudas | 8 | 7 | 8 | Missing teeth and missed opportunities as they go 0/6 on the PP
to fall to PU. Lack of bench continue to hurt play on floor. Came out strong this week, but eventually succumbed to PU in the final period. |

| 1 | Greenback Boogies | 1 | 1 | 1 | Ended the
BW win streak with a great team effort and rewarded with a number 1 ranking
for this week. AK with the hatty shouldn't over shadow how well, and instrumental to beating the Warriors, Joe played in net. Both should be 1st star of game. Running neck and neck with the defending champs, this victory over BW might have been a prelude to this year's REC final. |
| 2 | Babylon Warriors | 2 | 2 | 2 | Played strong and fired off 36 shots but ran into a determined
GB team that ends their streak. Tough loss. 36 shots on net usually result in more goals for this bunch. Suffering their first lost in 15 games could serve as a catalyst to motivate them in the upcoming playoffs. |
| 3 | 5 Minute Major | 3 | 3 | 3 | Shot 37% from the floor as they rout L2T backed by another
stifling defensive performance. Looked like the team that won it all a couple of seasons ago. Made it look easy. Convincing win this week; continuing a win streak that should help propel them through tough end of season schedule. |
| 4 | The Untouchables | 4 | 4 | 4 | UT is absolutely on fire going unbeaten in 4 games outscoring
opponents 18-6. Looking more like a team that can contend for the REC title. Would like to see better finishing in the O-zone. Dominant win this week, holding the Streetsharks to a mere 10 shots on goal. When this team is firing on all cylinders, they are dangerous. |
| 5 | Streetsharks | 5 | 5 | 5 | Only 10 shots against the hot UT drop them from the elite ranks
of the REC division. 10 shots on net isn't good enough. Geoff, who has carried team thus far, needs a bit more help. No answers this week on offense; will need to regroup if they want to finish the season strong and make a playoff run. |
| 6 | Stingrays | 6 | 6 | 8 | Total team effort as they dominated 2JNC. Good ball movement as
they blow things open in the 3rd. Definitely trending upwards. Like what I see from this bunch, but still a ways off. Blew it wide open in the 3rd with 5 goals, the Rays will need to ride that wave into next week when they face UT. |
| 7 | The Moosassins | 7 | 7 | 7 | Good bounce back win against the Scabs. Complete 45 minute
effort earns them the shutout. Have the talent to contend with the heavy hitters, but still finding way as a team. Showed their potential this week; look for them as a long shot for the REC Cup. |
| 8 | License 2 Thrill | 8 | 8 | 6 | Limited shots, limited defense as they fall to 5MM. Have not
scored more than 1 goal in a game since week 2. 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Also, negative points for making me think of Paula Abdul lyrics. Allowing 7 goals on just 19 shots, L2T must come up with a new defensive strategy. |
| 9 | SCABS | 9 | 9 | 9 | Outshot 25-12, the Scabs short bench has them scoring less than
1 goal/game on the season. Believe me. It could be worse. Blanked by the rising Moosassins, the Scabs have yet to score this month. Strong goaltending keeps this team afloat. |
| 10 | 2 Jacks No Coke | 10 | 10 | 10 | Can't seem to get anything going against the Stingrays, need to
find an offensive system that works…and fast. Not enough talent on team. Even worse is the short bench. Winless since Week 1, 2 Jacks still searching for a spark. |
