Fireside Stats Week 10

Over the course of the season, we've looked at a variety of statistics:

• Male vs. Female breakdown
• Shots Taken and Allowed per game
• Goals scored and Allowed per game
• Shots and Goals by Period
• Individual Points and Goals per game
• Goals Against Average, Save Percentage, and Saves per game

This week we'll just post some images of the latest stats tables (don't have time to play with HTML), and let the stats speak for themselves.

Team Stats (many more detailed stats available in the Excel file)

Goalies with at least 5 games played for a single team:

Scorers: Top 25, Females, and Rookies

Female vs. Male Breakdown of Games Played and Scoring Contributions

There have been 1573 games played in DCHL PRO and REC divisions.  1060 by men   513 by women
If we remove Goalie games played, the numbers change to:
1422 Total, with 918 by men, and 504 by women. (65% men, and 35% women)

496 Total goals have been scored: 432 (87%) by men, and 64 (13%) by women
534 Total assists have been credited: 374 (70%) to men, and 160 (30%) to women


If we look simply at raw numbers of players who contributed to scoring for their teams:
     302 players: 200 men and 102 women have played in one or more games for a team
      of these players: 66% of men have at least one point, and
                               62% of women have at least one point
